Yulia Gogol lives and works in St. Petersburg. When you accidentally see her creations, you will never be able to pass by. They delight, fascinate, cut into memory forever.

This work of hers is called Ecclesiastes. The sculptural composition won first place in the nomination “Stone-cutting innovations” at the international competition of stone-cutting and jewelry art “Silver Babr” in 2021.

Her work is not like the creations of other stone cutters. It could not be otherwise, because most of them are men. Moreover, we are very interested to get acquainted with her work in more detail.

Her talent to “make friends” with the stone and draw inspiration from its features, shape, color, texture delights the viewer. From some of her works breathes love, from others – fear, surprise, admiration. It is hard to believe what a stone is capable of in the hands of a talented person.

Yulia Gogol can see something in a stone that we would not even pay attention to. She is always in co-creation with quartz and tries to capture this “melody” of the stone and show it to us, surprised fans, in her works. Indeed, inside this mineral, a thousand-year history is imprinted, a whole universe of its own, opened by this talented woman to every viewer.
