Carved birds by Eberhard Bank
Here is what Eberhard Bank has to say about his creative journey.
“I was born on April 12, 1953 in the family of a diamond cutter. In 1968, my training as a stone carver began. It lasted three and a half years, after which I worked as an apprentice for four years and attended a special trade school, which I successfully graduated in 1983. I opened my own workshop in 1975. This was followed by a bright success in my career – in 1986 I was recognized as a state artist. For many years now I have been successfully performing at exhibitions and fairs in Bahrain, Canada, USA, Japan, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Dubai and Moscow.”
In this collection you will see bird figurines by Eberhard Bank, carved from precious and ornamental stones.
The heron is carved in high-clear rock crystal, quartz, with a two-tone tourmaline beak, on silver legs, resting on a calcite geode base, decorated with 18K yellow gold flowers and swamp plants with a small diamond on an oval base in polished quartz rock crystal.
