Denis Bogomazov stone cutter
Bogomazov Denis Alekseevich – Yekaterinburg stone-cutting artist, master of stone-cutting art, member of the Union of Artists of Russia, holder of the “Order of A.K. Denisov-Uralsky.
Born on October 31, 1978 in the city of Kzyl – Orda Kazakhstan.
In 1998 he graduated from the Uralsk School of Applied Arts in Nizhny Tagil, the Department of Artistic Stone Processing.
Since 1999 he has been a participant of city, regional, regional, zonal, all-Russian, international and personal exhibitions. Winner of the city competition “Master of the Year” in the nomination “Artistic stone processing”.
Since 2000, he has been working in the “Creative Workshop of Alexei Antonov”.
In 2006, he has worked at Moiseikin Jewelery House LLC.
Since 2012 he has been working independently.
Denis is fluent in the technique of stone processing and works only with natural stones: quartz, jasper, jade, chalcedony, charoite, obsidian, chrysoprase, opal and many other natural stones. The master is sure that all the beauty and uniqueness of the Urals can be conveyed only in products made from natural stones. The work of Denis Bogomazov is quite easy to recognize. They are distinguished by naturalistic forms, attention to detail and plots, combined with an incredibly high level of performance.
The works of Denis Bogomazov are kept in private collections in Russia, the USA, Germany, Australia, Italy, China and in state museums in Russia. Including the only Yekaterinburg Museum of the history of stone-cutting and jewelry art in Russia.
