For the Moscow exhibition of 1882, the Faberge firm prepared a stand with exact copies of jewelry from the Kerch treasure. Jewelry work was carried out by Eric Collin, the leading master of the firm, and several other employees. Seven craftsmen worked on the neck decoration of this collection for 120 days. The exposition of copies of jewelry from the Scythian treasure brought the house of Faberge the admiration of visitors and the jury, a gold medal and fame.
