Sarah McLaughlin (1872–1939), one of the finest ceramic artists who worked at the Weller Pottery factory in Ohio in the early 20th century. Her wonderful delicate floral compositions look especially good on the vases of the Eosin line (Eocean). High-gloss glaze gives the painting an extraordinary volume, depth and decorative effect.
