Paul Amy is an Australian artist, designer and jeweler, member of the Australian Guild of Goldsmiths and Silversmiths. Paul Amy was born and raised in Melbourne and had one grandfather who was a watchmaker and another a jeweler. The passion for jewelry was in his blood.

Paul has been a designer and jeweler for over 50 years and is well known for his work creating beautiful jewelery designs entirely by hand. Paul remains passionate about designing and making special things. “I have fun creating jewelry and I want it to bring the same pleasure to my clients.” Throughout his career, Paul has seen many design changes come and go, but as he says, “the fundamentals have always remained the same: skillful design, superb craftsmanship and attention to detail.” Like the masters of old, using time-tested techniques, he creates his own unique works. “Each product is made entirely by hand, without computers or mass production. My pieces are truly original works of art, whether they are made of silver, gold or platinum.” Paul has a talent for creating interesting narrative jewelry compositions.

Oceana glasses were finalists in the Australian Jewelery Design Awards in the Work of Art category in October 2019. This glass features interchangeable champagne and red wine bowls, specially designed by Paul Amy. The kelp stingray design and all gold stand components are handcrafted by Paul Amy without any casting or 3D renderings.
