Hans Kanters – Dutch artist

Hans Kanters is a Dutch artist who is known for his surrealist works. Each of his works is full of deep meaning, but not without humor and irony, tenderness and romance, as well as a paradoxical combination of forms and illusions, reality and fantasy. Interesting canvases, looking at which, you just get pleasure.

Hans Kanters was born in Amsterdam. He has been painting since 1967, lithography since 1986 and sculpture since 1994.
Kanters is self-taught. He worked in the Netherlands, in the south of Spain, Formentera, in the south of France and since 1992 in Ibiza. Exhibitions and collections of Hans Kanters’ works have been exhibited at solo and group exhibitions in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Greece, America and Japan in various galleries and art fairs. The works are in collections in these countries.
