Fantastic paintings by Vadim Voitekhovich that you want to consider
The Belarusian artist Vadim Voitekhovich was born in 1963, graduated from the Bobruisk Art College and created a lot of works unique in their style. His painting immediately attracts attention, and despite the very restrained palette, it makes you look at each picture and unravel the fantastic worlds of the artist.
The intrigue also lies in the fact that we are presented with seemingly pictures of the past, but with aggregates unrealistic for that time. Steam engines and drivers here side by side with airships, flying and floating ships of incredible shapes, and take us into the future.
Steamship pipes, propellers and the shape of a submarine, propellers, masts of sailboats, machine guns, locators and mechanical structures are combined by the author’s imagination into a single whole, creating a unique image.
And so the ingenious artist presents us with the first motorcycle.
However, despite the magnificent imagination of the artist, some paintings abounding with all sorts of devices have a depressing effect on me personally and resemble some kind of apocalypse.
Therefore, I want to switch to something more cheerful in color, and not so frightening with an insane amount of incomprehensible technique above my head, and present you with a more positive option.
In his paintings, Vadim uses a wide range of artistic media, from watercolors and gouache to oils, and ink and pen are often used for graphic sketches. And these works perfectly show the high professional level of the artist and give him excellent graphics.
The artist became known primarily as the owner of a peculiar steampunk style, but his work has a different focus. And his love of history became the basis for the creation of a number of historical paintings in a realistic style.
At the moment, the artist lives in Germany, his paintings became the basis of a series of postcards, an album of his works in the original historical style was released, Vadim also creates illustrations, they are especially in demand in the design of historical works and science fiction.
