Artist Alex Levin was born in 1975 in Kyiv, became interested in drawing in early childhood. After graduating from high school, he entered the Art Academy. The young artist graduated with honors and soon emigrated to Israel. So Alexey Levin became Alex Levin.

In Israel, Alex Levin settled in the city of Herzliya – he lives in this city to this day.

The main styles in the artist’s works are realism and surrealism. Alex Levin paints with oil and acrylic, charcoal and pencil. Alex Levin’s special love is the 16th century painting technique (multi-layered painting with oil and tempera without brushstrokes).
