Dieter Jerusalem is a famous diamond cutter from Idar-Oberstein, he is proud of his surname for good reason. Not everyone can trace their lineage back to the Crusades. Dieter Jerusalem became interested in creating Easter eggs from precious and ornamental stones, working in his father’s workshop from the mid-1960s. He chose his own path in the field of diamond cutting and today is the most famous Easter egg carver in the world, who knows how to bring out the purity and beauty of minerals in his creations in the best possible way.

Throughout his working career Dieter searched for and found rare and unusual samples of minerals, especially from various depleted deposits. Therefore, in his collections of stone-cut eggs there are precious specimens that can no longer be found in Europe.
