The German auction house Hargesheimer Kunstauktionen Düsseldorf is holding the 109th auction “Russian art, important Russian and Greek icons.” The auction will take place on April 16-17, 2021; more than 1200 masterpieces of antiques from different historical eras are on sale.

The young auction house Hargesheimer Kunstauktionen Düsseldorf was founded in 2007 by Frank Hargesheimer. The company specializes in the sale of Russian art objects and icons. Large-scale auctions dedicated to this topic are held annually in April and November.
In addition, the auction house’s program includes bidding for contemporary art, jewelry and pocket watches in May and December, and classic art in March and September.
Thousands of unique masterpieces of antiques are put up for sale every year, including: porcelain; sculptures; paintings; silver; carpets; furniture.

109th auction “Russian art, important Russian and Greek icons”
Spring 109th auction “Russian art, the most important Russian and Greek icons” will be held in April this year. Catalog contains over 1200 original masterpieces, including 299 – in the section “Russian art” and 1081 – in the section “Important Greek and Russian icons”.
The management of the auction house on its official website posted information that in connection with the coronavirus pandemic, participants will be admitted to the auction only by appointment. The lots will be open for visual inspection from 10 to 16 April in the showroom of the Hargesheimer Kunstauktionen Düsseldorf.
